The last day...

After a pause of ten days we're driving from Louisville back to Aiken County.

This has been a nice, productive trip. We visited 11 state capitols, visited two "new" states (Iowa and Ohio), spent ten days in Louisville visiting with friends and worked three plus days at the dog Agility Trial. Very satisfying!

The Navigator predicted this trip would be 3,753 miles. Actual milage is 3,984. But I drove 438 miles during our hiatus in Louisville. So he hit it real close. Kudos to the stitched up Navigator!

The summary for this trip is down below after the silly joke. Be sure to scroll down and check out the State Capitols Recap.

Our next trip will probably be taken in early June. Stay tuned.

From Yours Truly in SC:

Finally, the answer to two troubling quandaries:

I have always had an affinity for boiled peanuts.
And The Navigator has always had an affinity for (chasing) possums.

But why?

My Bud Neal Boortz supplies the surprising answers.
