Today we visited Devil's Tower. Awesome!

We spent about 1 1/2 hours there, driving around and taking pictures. See pix below.

Tonight we're camped in Wheatland, WY.

Tomorrow we'll visit Cheyenne, WY to take a pix of the capitol, drive to Denver to take a pix of the Colorado Capitol, eat lunch with one of Pat's Grandsons, drive to Colorado Springs, visit Garden of the Gods and, finally, *puff*, *puff*, drive to the top of Pikes Peak. Gonna be a busy day.

We start the day with a sign for June. There is a Devil's Tower cleverly hidden in this pic. Can you find it? Some perspective. Devil's Tower is huge! 1267 feet tall. The entrance. There is a three mile road that leads up the base of the tower.
Pix from the parking lot. Pix from the entrance road. Pix after we left the Monument and hit the road. What a combo: The Navigator, Devil's Tower and the truck/camper.
Entrance to "Bears and Company." Don't have a clue as to the type of company. But a UPS truck pulled out of the driveway right before I took this pic. Bears and Company has interesting office hours. Pic by Pat. And the person, whoever he or she may be, lives in that little shack in the pic.

From Bill in KY (this is such a great joke!):

A thief in Paris planned to steal some paintings from the Louvre. After careful planning, he got past security, stole the paintings and made it safely to his van.

However, he was captured only two blocks away when his van ran out of gas.

When asked how he could mastermind such a crime and then make such an obvious error, he replied, "Monsieur, that is the reason I stole the paintings. I had no Monet to buy Degas to make the Van Gogh."
