 Today's Narrative

Today we traveled from St. Augustine, FL to West Palm Beach, FL

I turned on the radio this morning when I woke up and they said the temperature was 27. So it was probably colder overnight. We slept nice and toasty with the sleeping bag. No fun this morning preparing to leave, but the van warmed up pretty quickly.

We continued down A1A.

Oh, if your name is Sue or you're into carousels, click here.

We stopped and looked at an old Spanish fort (see pix below).

I hate admit it but we violated part of the code on this trip. The traffic on US 1 and A1A had been fairly light. But when we got to Stuart, the traffic really got bad.

After we spent 1/2 an hour to travel 1/2 a mile, I made an executive decision and decided to bail onto I95. And the traffic on I95 was okay for a while. But when we got to Jupiter, it got bad again. We crawled in West Palm Beach about 7pm. I thought we'd be here by 5pm. Oh, well.

I suspect we'll be seeing

If you, like me, have ever been called a "loose cannon," now you know what your accuser was talking about. KA-BOOM!!
