 Today's Narrative

Today we traveled from Chesapeake, VA to Georgetown, DE

Today was a travel day to get to Georgetown, DE to visit a college friend, Bob Young and his wife Gale.

We went through, under and over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel ^ a very interesting engineering feat. Follow the link to learn more.

Atlantic Ocean? Nope, Chesapeake Bay. You can see an oil tanker. There were a bunch of these anchored in the bay. I was told they were there to get away from the effects of Hurricane Frances. Welcome to the tunnel!

You might think this is a picture of a seagull. You would be wrong. It's a picture of a statue of a seagull that is about eight feet tall. Monster seagull! Hey June, two more for your collection :)
